Why we are here
Everyone remembers that one teacher
The maths teacher who finally made it click. The swim instructor who got you across the pool. People with passion for their subject make you love learning it.
The problem we saw
Learning from those people usually meant travelling to a physical course — far away, expensive, at fixed times. And most online alternatives? Long, dull and impersonal. Knowledge was everywhere, but the fun of learning got lost along the way.
So we do it differently
Soofos uses technology to let real experts share what they know — in short, practical video lessons with assignments that stick, instead of walls of text. You keep control of your own attention: what you learn, where, and when.
Where it got us
Today Soofos is the largest open online learning platform of the Netherlands — used by individuals, schools and organizations like the Royal Library, Odido and Nationale Nederlanden. And we’re nowhere near done.
